The Power of Yet
Here at Mclendon Elementary we believe in the Power of Yet. We understand that your children may not have reached certain milestones but they will, they just haven't met them yet. We believe its not a matter whether they will get it, but when they get it.
Your child will learn to love to read in my first grade class. They will love books. I need your help to make sure that they are given many chances to read the sight words. They will need these opportunities so they can make sense of the texts they are given to read in class.
