Staying engaged and involved

Research says that students who have parents who are involved have more success in life.

Your children appreciate when you hold them accountable for their success. They get a sense of accomplishment when you let them complete their own homework.

Do you recognize when your child is struggling? If so what do you do when they are having a hard time? If you don't feel confident helping them make sure you get them some help. How do you that? Communicate with your child's teacher. If she has limited time seek the help of a tutor.

You are your child's first teacher. We are here to help with this process but you would be surprised what your children can accomplish when they know that you have high expectations of them. You just listening to them read will inspire them to want to read more. When they know you are interested in their education they become more interested in it too.
